Disneyland Days
My posting spree wouldn't be complete without adding even more pictures of our frequent trips to Disneyland. For the first time ever, we managed to get Kailey to talk to one of the princesses. Of course that is something that has never happened before, so we took yet more pictures. I also have realized that she tends to wear the same outfit over and over...and over. This is partly her daddy's fault since it is his favorite.

Travel Town Train Museum

On one of our many excursions into the city, we discovered a hidden train museum that is completely free. Since Kailey loves trains and we have a great love for all entertainment that is free, we decided to try it out. Kailey had a blast looking at the giant trains and we had fun making her pose for as many pictures as we could think of.

Halloween Extravaganza

So, Kailey got to wear her costume not once, not twice, but four times this Halloween season. Of course that means we took plenty of pictures for your own viewing pleasure. It started last Friday with the annual ward trunk or treat. Monday we moved on to a music class party followed by a preschool party on Thursday. With the novelty of being a fairy princess wearing off, we finally reached the big day--Halloween. After a long, exhausting day at Disneyland, we brought out the costume once again and turned our little girl into a princess from the fairy realm. Wearing her pink eyeshadow and sparkly hairspray, she was ready to go out trekking for some candy. We trick or treated at a few houses, but quickly ran into some monsters. Kailey was scared and refused to go to any more houses except for her friend Sara's. So, we set off on a long walk to the Lowe's house. Luckily they were home having dinner with the missionaries and Kailey got to see her friends and pick out candy. Our trick-or-treating was over quickly and we went back to snuggle on the couch and watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and wait for our doorbell to ring. We had a grand total of two different trick or treating groups visit out door. Fortunately I had sent Chad to get the candy and he'd made the wise choice of bringing home chocolate, so it wasn't too much of a hardship keeping it.
